Best Chime/Talisman for 15 faith Paladin build
Hi, so I've been messing around with my first DS3 character. Planned in my head as Dex Paladin using 3 Miracles - Tears of Denial, Blessed Weapon and Replenishment (neither rely on Spell Buff). Spent over 8 hours thinking, planning on Mugenmod and reading different threads on here and reddit, finally came to some conclusions, the last piece of the set is Talisman/Chime.
I'm having trouble deciding between Cleric's Sacred Chime and Canvas Talisman.
Saint's Talisman and Saint-tree Bellvine are both no-no, first one because 16 Faith requirement, second one because I plan to run Dex build, meaning I won't benefit from faster casting (already capped).

So, which one out of those 3 would be the best pick in your opinion? I am also running Ethereal Oak Shield as off-hand (hidden blessed attribute, 100 % physical block). As hp regen does stack, using Cleric's Chime would mean I have higher hp/s regen with Shield, Chime and Replenishment, but Canvas have Unfaltering Prayer and from what I've read the best out of all Talismans.
Which one would be more useful in PVP and PVE, taking into consideration that I will run only these 3 miracles?

Tbh the unfaltering thing is useful for getting off offensive miracles or miracles that take time. Neither of those 3 really take that long to get off so chime might be better tbh.

That's exactly why I asked. I was aware that Unfaltering loses its usefulness a bit in my setup, although the last thing I need is to get interrupted when in danger and casting Replenishment...
Thank you for your input, sir

replenishment is probably not going to do anything when in danger, at least in a pvp situation. pve, however, it MIGHT, but at that point you could just haul ass away from the danger

Not that hard to stall tbh and I doubt he will go in with just replenishment on. If he manages to get off blessed and replenish that is 9 hp back per tick. Throw in the chimes skill and it bumps up to 15. With that type of regen and the playstyle of a number of people, he will actually be just fine. If he is given the chance to pop stuff off that is.

I might throw in Sun Princess Ring to make myself even more annoying for a total of 17HP/s.
Although Gentle Prayer would mean I have to keep the Chime in off-hand for 60 seconds without 2-H equpping right hand weapon

Consider getting 18 faith for Filianore's Chime, its WA is AoE and still works after putting it away, letting you whip out a blessed shield (Or Ethereal Oak Shield) for its duration.

that's 3 points I would have to take off another, useful attribute... Do you know how much WA heals for? The only information I was able to google is the duration of the WA, which is exactly same as Unfaltering

Projected heal is a much much better healing spell if you plan to use those in PvP. Otherwise, just grab a chime.

Two handing DEX weapons aren't gonna beg you much anyway and it sounds to me like your optimizing for PvE

If you actually want blessed regen character for PvP:

Go all in on FTH, infuse bless, have projected heal and blessed shield and wear sun ring. You can free up spell slots for tears for bosses and lightning arrows and spears for PvP

Longsword and shield works wonders send you'll be safe and have plenty of points for everything else

Either way, tears and replenishment won't help in PvP cause of length of cast. And having to cast all of those in PvP does get tedious.

iirc filianore's chime heals for 4hp per tick, i dont know if it scales.
it's most likely worth the investment, 3 levels isnt much.

you can just use the infinite respec glitch to get those levels back if you decide it's not worth it anyway.

Or don't use the glitch and only use 1 respec to change it...

Projected Heal has way higher Faith requirement than what I have available. It also scales with Spell buff, which I'm trying to avoid.
I'm using refined LKS and sharp Astora GS.
I do plan to play heavy Faith character too, but not yet tho. This is my first character ever with Dark Souls.
I don't actually have a clue how long does it take to cast each of the 3 discussed miracles, someone said they aren't that slow, you say they have long casts. If they are actually long I will stick with Talisman for Unfaltering. WA of Cleric's seems less and less tempting now...

the point i was making was that changing it back wouldn't cost him anything at all, he can just test it himself.

who cares if he uses the glitch, anyway? it's completely harmless.

Lks does better with dex so make it sharp when you can. As for those miracles, you will be able to get them off tbh. Or at the very least one depending on what pvp your doing. If arena, you should be safe since a lot of people buff their own and some folks will let you buff anyway. From a distance point of view, you should be able to get off two buffs before they reach you unless they are ranged or come in right out the gate and as long as you don't need to get in an ashen after a cast. In regular invasions, there's always distance so. Also yes, all three of those have short cast times alone. About as fast as the skill for chimes.

But advising someone to use exploits can be harmful, and even if it's harmless it isn't nice.

Filianore WA duration is same as Gentle Prayer not Unfaltering, my mistake.
So Filianore WA heals 33 % less than Gentle Prayer, but I could swap it after casting for Shield meaning regen would be actually the same.
It does sound good actually. The only problem is - Filianore's is from Ringed City, it will take me ages until I get it. Anyway thank you all for your valuable input, it did help me a lot!

After first playthrough my first ever character should like this -
