Anyone using the Moonlight Greatsword?
I crafted it, and I am searching some builds for pve/pvp with it. Is this greatsword any good? I'm lvl 100 and I can't see some builds around here for this weapon

Any caster with high INT can have it as main weapon, it deals decent damage and is generally a good weapon for caster.

I'm basically not a caster but I can reset all my stat points and rebuild my pg. Can you give some hints to me to become a caster with this sword attached? Any spells recommended?

I've used it a lot.
Not as a caster though, i just went full magic knight who does not need no spells.

Basically i just dumped all the STR and DEX points i had into INT and there we go. I usually end up somewhere between 40-60 int. The soft-cap hits at 40 and you are not getting much bonus damage after that, but its still nice to have some.
Also two-handing is recommended because for some reasons it increases damage output greatly, even though its not shown in AR. I honestly don't know why its like that.

So, with a lvl 100, can you recommend me a build? I want to hold it like you, 2h and no spells.

ok so trash all these other comments, all you need is 39 vigor, 30 endurance, 10 attunement, 18 vitality, 16 str, 11 dex, and 40 int. Get some heavyish armor and the wolf ring +3. Bam, hyperarmor with the moonlight greatsword. Best weapon, been using it for the last week nonstop, magic AR is awesome because people have low magic resist usually. two handing is for having a little bit of poise, one hand it for some more spam range, and mix up some heavy attacks in there for some projectiles. if you do though, carry a basic scorcery staff and a handy spell called 'repair'. Only spell you need with the moonlight memesword.

Not sure about SL100 but the idea is simple:
Enough strength to one-hand the sword, because sometimes the wider swings are useful for crowd-control (also parrying, shield, etc).
Usually no dex investment unless you want to use a specific off-hand item, like a parrying dagger or something.
At least 40 int.
Everything else into vigor / endurance / vitality.

Rings: ring of favor (best ring), chloranthy ring (stamina regen), and 2 wings of your choice.
Good ring choices are:
prisoner's chain
life ring
magic clutch ring
havel's ring

And i usually use medium armor, something that gives ~30 poise.
Usually full Drakeblood Set or anything near it (silver knight, black knight, etc)

actually you only need 35 attunement to have a good pool of FP, going for 40 attunement only adds one extra slot and very little FP, you could use those 5 levels into vigor since 27 is the bare minimum

Swap the Crown of Dusk for something else (Ragged Hood) against other magic-users.

Not really that optimized, you could aim for certain breakpoints and save some armor and Vit to put in Vgr. I just let mugen list the highest Poise armor combo.

tested a few things with mugen monky build calculater assuming you started as a knigth
http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls3
if you just want to use the sword at SL100 and dont want to lvl up any furter in future
40 Vigor
30 Endurance
min Str and Dex for the sword
50 Int

if you also want to be a mage
30 Vigor
30 Attunement
30 Endurance
min Str and Dex for the sword
40 Int
you do miss out on survivabillity with this however

for the 120 méta
moonligth swordman
get 40 endurance and 60 Int

now for the mage
40 vigor is a must but the 10 other points you have left is up for debate either endurance or Int whatever you want more damage or survivabillity but if you dont want to make that compromise go SL 140 you will have enouf points to hit the soft caps on all your main stat's which is
40 vigor
30 attunement
40 endurance
60 Inteligence
but will still get matched up with the SL120 players, if you feel like it's unfaire to them i really wood not worry about that, magic is not only not as good as a mélée builds but also needs more skill to use properly and has a higher stat investement to hit the soft cap on all there main stat's

30 is more than enouf I wood even go for 24 if you need to skeeze out those extra few points for something

i use it on my ludwig, the holy blade kosmplay (20 str / 60 int)

You wrote so many different builds from each others. I don't know which I should follow.

Now, I can't reset my stats forever, right? How can I be able to reset them as many times as I want?

I used the Rosaria skill to reset them, but she said to me "You can reset your stats only 5 times"

I heard there was a glitch to have infinit reset's no idée how it works
personnely i have a backup save it's really simple once you know where the game stores it's files
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNS_14kM2lM
it's a little late for this solution if you already waster all the respecs from rosaria however you can just go into NG+ and rush to the cathédrale of the deep for rosaria make your back up and try things out everytime you get bored of your build are out of stat respecs and or titanite slabs just reload to you old save before wasting them you will keep acces to the aréna if you already unlocked it bofore going into NG+ and the other PVP aréa pontif is not that far of if you have problems with a boss and dont see any sign's just ask for help there are plenty of people willing to give you a hand
