Blessed weapon miracle not working
Am I missing something? I can cast Magic Barrier just fine, but when I try Blessed Weapon he just scratches his head. The requirements are the same for both miracles, so I see no reason why it won't work..?

The weapon needs to be buffable and if memory serves it needs to be the right hand weapon.

Certain infusions prevent the use of buffs, and Fire is one of them. So that would be why.

Heavy, Sharp, Refined, Raw, and Hollow allow buffs, all the other infusions prevent buffs.

I am curious why to even infuse your weapon with fire since it will make it weaker most of the time to be hoenst.... (You can tumblebuff if you want to know but it's an exploit so I don't reccomend it.)

Later on it makes weapons a lot weaker, because of scaling and how split damage works, but early on when enemy base defence is really low, it can significantly increase your damage, especially when lots of enemies early on are weak against Fire, such as Dogs, Pus of Man, the Leech monsters, and the Lycanthropes in the Crucifixion woods. All of those are stunned by Fire attacks and take bonus damage.

Infusing a weapon with Fire early on is just a really easy way to increase your damage a bit and make those enemies easy to beat without needing to rely on consumables like Firebombs or Resin, or on Pyromancy.

Pus of Men are reason enough.

Make your sword of Astora raw. You're welcome.
