Also the stance R2 is a lighting-fast ranged attack that can be used to punish rolls or just to deal damage to enemies if they are too far away or something.
Lorians' is an Ultra Great Sword with all the issues that come from it like low attack speed, easily dodged and telegraphed attacks that leave you wide open, huge weight.
Also it deals split damage so it wont be as good in PvP as it is in PvE.
Weapon art is nothing special either, just a pretty generic stomp that buffs weapon's fire damage for some time and sends a narrow fire-path towards the enemy when followed by an R2.
If you will ever find yourself capable of going to NG+ once you'll get the other one you will be able to combine these 2 swords into a new one which is a Greatsword that combines the powers of both - magic missile of Lothric's and fire wave of Lorian's.
Well I'm not much into pvp so no worries there, I didn't know you could combine them, that's awesome! I think I'll go with Lorians for now and get Lothrics in my next playthrough which will probably be a dex build, thanks for the quick answer though!
