Which of Pontiffs swords should i trade for?

There are two and i can only get one so i was wondering if anyone knew which is superior?

Depends. If you're a sorcerer, get the GS of Judgment. If you're a normal melee focused build, get the Profaned GS.

The profaned GS is stronger in terms of damage but really doesn't offer that much compared to other GS that you can buff or infuse. GS of judgement is great if you're going for a magic based build. Great scaling and a ranged attack/buff. So if you're going for a basic build but want something to make it seem cooler, get profaned. If you're going for a magic based build, go judgement.

Well i'm a regular melee build atm but if i want to change to a sorcerer further down the line then what do i do? :/

Honestly, even for a basic strength build the profaned GS isn't that great compared to other weapons of the same type. Just get judgement since it'll be more useful if you decide to try sorcery.

If you aren't going to use either weapon right now you should just hold on to the soul until you have a better idea which weapon you want to use.
