To kill DragonSlayer Armour
His heavy attack(or something like that), instantly kills me. My hp is 1100, his damage is utterly insane!
Any ideas to lower his damage?

He is SUPER weak to frost, you cant really lower his damage output, but you can definitely chunk him down with your own. you can also summon Eygon of Carim for this fight, his summon sign is in the chapel to the right of the fog wall. Eygon is a beast and will survive pretty much anything Mr dragonslayer throws at him. I reccomend the Irithyll straight sword or vordt's hammer for this, since they have hella frost.

Got it. Another question. I want to go for a ring that provides resistance to thunder, will that be helpful?

Buy some Yellow Bug Pellet from shrinemaid. That would be a waste of ring slot imo.

Just dodge his attacks.
there's not exactly a way to reduce his damage, you can use phantoms just as Sirris and Eygon, you should try to predict that movement and dodge it or try with another armor with lightning resistance.

Play and keep dying you will figure out his moveset. He is not that hard trust me. All you need to do is dodge

Which attack is it? If you're calling it is heavy attack, I assume it's the one where he spends a lot of time holding the sword in the air, then swings it down with an electric aoe? it shouldn't cover too much area behind him, so you can hide behind him and then follow up after he pops it.

I can dodge 80% of his attack, but 20% of his attack instantly kills me...

Actually I referred to all his moves with electricity. Charge with his axe, wide wield etc. I was wearing wolf knight armor set, I guess it might be the problem...

Gitting gud now, I will slay this beast! Praise the sun!
Pratice not getting hit

Light armor with high elemental resist is advisable for the fight since there's also fireballs that can do a decent amount of damage.

He's got alot of attacks and is especially good at punishing you for trying to attack during openings but compared to other bosses in the game he's quite slow

Weapon Skill of Great Hammers: Perseverance
Anchor weapon in earth to temporarily boost poise. Damage reduced while activated.

If I feel like "No, I can't dodge this" then I'll use Perseverance.
Vordt's Great Hammer requires 30 str (20 if 2-handed) to equip, and it's easy to acquire.
Since Dragon Slayer Armoour is weak to frost, so it's a good choice.:praisesun:

Fine work, skeleton!

What was the secret? Lightning resistance, or dodging more?

I have used the lightening resistance ring, but it actually make no real difference. I think it reduces the damage by 100 points.

The secret is dodge, and the location of battle.
In his phase one, dodge is most effective. In his phase two, you should stand on the stairs, don't fight him on the bridge, cause one of his moves(aoe) will actually knock you off the bridge.
By Standing on the stairs(keep distance) you will find him frequently charge at you, it will give you time to hit him after you rolled to his back.
