Lore about sorcerers?
Do sorcerers praise the dragons or something? What is the lore behind sorcery?

Sorcery is the art of manipulating souls.

all blue spells are essentially souls.

But why are there Dragon symbols on the rings?

Vinheim Dragon School.

Who knows, it could be because they thought it was cool, or maybe a sacred animal, not nessisarily worshiped but maybe revered.

Or, maybe they did worship dragons, although there is no lore evidence to sugest so.

It's considered to be derived from Seath (the 'Grandfather' of sorcery).

How are Vinheim and Seath connected ? Logan did seem to have knowledge that the Regal Archives exsisted, but i never found a connection that Seath actually influenced the school.

As I said, it's considered (believed) that the Vinheim Dragon Scholars may have named the Dragon School after the Scaleless Dragon... simply because his extremely noteworthy role in the creation of sorceries would be reason enough to base a School, or at least the name of one, after him.

It doesn't mean Seath had any personal investment in the School, but rather it was a title given in respect, admiration, honour or perhaps just scholarly appreciation or recognition of Seath's efforts and breakthroughs regarding sorceries.

Never thought about it like that. Nice point of view, SoM

Seath created the most powerful sorceries and a bunch of magical creatures, so he's revered by sorcerers. Sorcery is powered by regular souls, hexes by fragments of the dark soul.

Yeah, Seath is the father of all magic, so he's in spirit revered by all Sorcerers. Hence why you have the Dragon School and Dragons on rings and such.
