Wolf's Sword Grass PvP Farming Thread
Hi guys,

I've farmed Vertebra Shackles before with someone online simply repeatedly summoning each-other with red soapstone signs. If it is possible to do this with Sword Grass, thenreply here if you also need some and I will be happy to help.

I need around 18 of it. If you need some and do agree to this, I'd request that we alternate kills so that nobody gets all they need then DC's.

Thanks!

It's not possible to farm Wolf's Sword with the Red Soapstone.

Your only chance would be to have the invading player wait for the other to be in the area (before killing boss) and hope that it matches you. Might increase the chances if you make sure to have the same level, preferably different from the usual level of players in that area, but there is no guaranteed method.

You can farm them off mobs, though.

Mobs is probably the fastest but most boring way. If possible grab a friend and go in that area without killíng one of the bosses (just to make sure) and hope ur getting matched. A good plan for some NG+ or higher.

For some people the covenant doesn't work well. I've never been invaded by a watchdog, and I only invaded a few times as watchdog. That covenant is still broken, even if it's just half-broken. So the chances are this won't work.

Go farm those grus. Darkwraiths kill them all before the abysswatchers, all you need to do is loot. Every time you do that you'll find 1 or 2 swordglasses, so you'll feel like something is happening. Unlike with proofs...

Well it probably "doesn't work" because the actual invade area that triggers watchdogs (at least what I experienced) is the swamp and the area that leads to Christal sage.
Usually u get past that area before anybody even has the chance to invade u because those covenants take a lot of time for auto invasions I think (or feel).

Ah that's a shame guys. Thanks for the replies though.

I have tried to farm those Grus. High luck, Gold Serpent Ring, Crystal Sge's Rapier and popping a Rusted Coin and in several hours of farming I've only ever gotten one Sword Grass. I don't really like Souls game grinding (thanks, DeS's Pure Bladestone) so I was hoping this would still work. :/

Sounds like the desire sensor is hard at work here.

I was standing there for hours without killing any bosses. I was emberred and all. I'm not stupid. And most people know by now that watchdogs of farron and darkmoon covenant doesn't work for most people. Yeah, they fixed it, but it's a half-asesd fix and it still doesn't work well. I've only seen 1 or 2 watchdog invaders, even when I had a friend there and tried to make them invade us. (well that was in the first month so it was clearly broken then)

Huh, either they changed the drop rates or you are super unlucky. When I got them the droprate wasn't exactly high, but I still got it done in 3 or 4 hours.
i got my 30 wolf grass in a single day at SL 30 and weapon at +2 . Just equip the convenant item and wait... you get summon pretty often. ( longer i waited for a summon was like 10 minutes)

The real issue are the Proof of concord.

That would be all well and good, but this is literally the LAST ring I need for the ring achievement and my character is SL 145. I'm on NG+5, and I don't want to do it all again on a new character just for an achievement since nobody is there for summoning at this level.

I'll just keep grinding for them at the Gru's. I'm going to check the Wiki and make sure this isn't a lost cause first.

ah well... you dont have any choice than grinding mobs i guess

Yesterday, I got invaded by 1 Watchdog and got summoned as DMB 5 times. If the brawl matchmaking time tells me anything, the issue is that it takes a lot of time to even properly connect the players.
