i cant use magic weapon on butcher knife

i have everything i need i have speel equiped,i have a staff and a butcher knife in my right hand with 4+ twinkling boost or however and i can use magic on most of other weapons but for some reason i cant on this one :)

i ment i can use the speel on almost all of the weapons but on this one

Are you talking about using the weapon art? Just two hand the knife and use the weapon art like normal. You need focus points to do it.

The Butchers Knife can´t be buffed or infused according to the wiki.

i mean i just got the magic weapon from the guy i met at the road of sacrifices and i attunes the speel "magic weapon" which appliest like blue magic to my right handed sword... it's the big atcher axe or knife which you get from a boss and for some reason i cant use it sry but i still dont know a lot about the game but im learinng

I'm not sure if Butcher's Knife can be buffed with spells like Lightning Blade, Darkmoon Blade, resins, etc. If you have resin and the icon is greyed out then it can't be applied same applies to the spells.

i dont have it since i still didn't kill the abyss watchers i just entered the road after killing the boss mage

Just go with the weapon which you are most comfortable with. Since you use a Butchers Knife I assume you´re running a Strength-build. Many of the boss weapons are STR weapons like Vordts Great Hammer. But Butcher´s is pretty good anyways. Has good scaling and fast attacks.

Claymore is meh tier. If you want a fast weapon try a broadsword.

Claymore is a fantastic weapon if you know how to use it.

The Claymore is great. It's a Greatsword, they're overall quite good and the Claymore is one of the good Greatswords.

I didn't use the Butcher's Knife at all tbh, but I doubt that it is any better, overall speaking.
