Lol
Go to ng+ or get someone to drop the ring, ya saltlord
Btw this is the only way to obtain a certain sword that is made of 2 other swords that are made form the soul of the same boss.
So basically you can only make this particular sword after defeating the game twice, and you have to complete it 2 times more if you have to have the previous 2 for your collection.
It's not "horrible game design" you probably should know better than wasting soul of a boss.
I learned that the hard way in Dark Souls 2. Now you did too.
"Saltlord" is hardly a mean name, and it's a fair response to accusing the game of having horrid design.
It's not anywhere near as big a deal as you think it is.
You can start a new character if you want, it won't impede your progress on that save. But they were talking about New Game+
NG+ is available after you've beaten the game once, it allows you to start over again with your stats and all your gear, albeit the game is even harder this time around.
I think i ve never popped a boss soul ever, and i played all 3 dark souls
OR you can finish the whole game and then just do a new game+ after the final boss.
The game will start all over from the begining, but you'll keep your levels and all of the loot you've collected. Only the journey itself will reset (you will also to do all the things again like opening shortcuts, buying keys to open doors, yadi yada).
Also enemies will become stronger and have increased health pool and damage output.
Well I might wager that old school style RPGs aren't your cup of tea, then. A lot of older RPGs have a lot of minute and miniscule things to keep up with, and don't hold your hand nearly as much.
I hardly call that horrid game design. How dare the game withhold certain items from you for making a mistake!
Holy sh1t, derplord also refers to derplord in the third person
