Character Deleted

I have just reinstalled dark souls 3 earlier today, and by my suprise my character was deleted. whaat can i do to have it back?

I don't think they actually support cloud saving in DS3 which I swear they have in every other game. I have been grinding out on a new character to play the new DLC because I lost my previous one as well.

From now on, always keep a backup of your save somewhere.

If it's a fresh os install as well, or new computer then you won't get the save back unfortunately

If you go to the main page it doesn't have steam cloud support. This sucks yes but I still backup games with GameSave Manager to a cloud service, even with with games that do support. Well only important ones XD

When you reinstall computer or get a new one, you should always check what data you need to manually backup. Rule #1 of reinstalling Windows.

If you uninstalled recently you can check if your pc had a back up of the save data folder so you can restore it.
