invisible hacker

does anyone got a invader that is complettly invisible for more than 5 min? i reported the player on steam on is profile but is there a way to let the dev know he is hacking?

Sometimes the game decides not to render characters and they'll become invisible. This more commonly happens with folks that are summoned. More than likely it was an error.

It happens due to bad connection, it is not a hack. You can lock on to them.

other reason i think he hack is because once i lock on him he run and break the lock on and strike back at me

there's actually some way to become invisible with cheats. once I invaded a guy and there was another invader that was all invisible except the arms and the weapon. maaaaybe also the torso armor, I can't remember. he had a name related to invisibility* so there were no doubts that he used cheats.

*I don't feel like saying it, the mod is too trigger-happy with bans...

Yeah, I'm not sure if this is like the no animation bug or a cheat.

Part of me believes it's a cheat because I locked onto one of them once, assumed it was a bug, and tried to attack. I landed 2 hits for kinda low-ish damage, whereupon he ran away and black crystalled.

But again, I'm really not sure nor am I qualified to say what it was.

Didn't saw the invasion message ( was afk 10 sec)
got hit in the back with a bleeding weapon
the guy was invisible all the time
can be lock on
npc summon can attack
took normal damage
waited in a boss room where he cant have access
the guy left after 18 min
i saw the message the the player add left my world

I had one similar two days ago in the Pontiff/Aldrich area. Invisible invader that I could lock onto but was not good enough to win. He/She smashed the blue that was auto-summoned plus a purple before getting me. Total wipe job, excellently executed.

he did 2 gank on me from blind spot on the boreal dancer room, no OP weapon/armor/stats felt like a average player (im average, win 50% of my pvp fight)
