Chaos Claymore?

Hi!
This is my first run in DS3 and I'm playing for Pyro. I wonder if it worth to reinforce Claymore+10 and infuse it with chaos, is this would be good choice? or you can suggest something better?

It is an Ultra greatsword and Claymore is just greatsword, I don't like slow ultra greatswords. Also Astora Great Sword has AA scale on chaos with INT/FAI so it better then Zweihander

Chaos/Dark infused Lothric Spear. I use it with Demon's Scar lately, should be fine with heavier weapons as long as you can carry it. The WA increases all damage including pyro, it's light weight, solid range, not meta, etc etc. I use it on my latest faith build too with Dragonslayer's Axe and it also increases miracle damage. Considering it on a sorc build with Preacher's Arm or Heysel's.

I think I like this weapon a lot more since invading with it on a newer character. It buffs allies. I'm pretty sure you can think of something that would be fun to do with that..especially when it's 2 or 3v1. Edit: to be clear I mean when it's 3/2v1 with you being the 1....

It was a joke. Look for Giant Dad build from DS1.

Best greatsword for pyro imho is onyx blade. It's actualy one of the best GS overall due to it's range. And WA is unparriable which comes in handy when you meet those "parry setup" lovers.

The good thing with playing Pyromancer is that you can use all elements kinda well since you have both INT and FTH... the bad thing is how elemental damage has been kinda nerfed due to the new damage reduction system.

Seconding Onyx Blade, it has a really nice mix of high speed and long range. You won't get it until late in the game, though.

Another neat lategame weapon is the Moonlight Greatsword, you get it from a boss' soul. If you're playing pyro and have INT and FTH in balance it's a pretty neat choice, it deals decent damage through shields and can shoot beams with charged attacks, so it's a good way to conserve FP and still have a ranged option.

Earlier in the game, the absolute best PvE weapon is the Hollowslayer Greatsword, made with the soul of the boss in the Undead Settlement (aka very early obtainable). Really nice moveset and bonus damage never hurts.

Speaking of that, Farron Flashsword is also a good spell once you have a nice catalyst - it's basically a melee sword swipe that you'll never flinch if you hit an enemy shield with, so it's great for putting pressure on defensive enemies even if it's not particularly powerful.

I was kidding. But you're wrong. I am playing with Chaos Zwei myself and it have A for Int and Faith at +10 with chaos gem.

It works, but I would suggest to use Bastard Sword instead to save those 3 points in DEX to wield. Since you're a pyro I would suggest using lighter weapon with less STR/DEX req's.
Dark Sword can has a poise and scales quite well.

I was kidding. But you're wrong. I am playing with Chaos Zwei myself and it have A for Int and Faith at +10 with chaos gem.

Strange. I check the wiki and there is BB scaling stats for chaos infusion

Yesterday defeted Ocerios, I'll try Moonlight Greatsword.
Yes I know about onyx blade but it obteined from DLC which I don't have

Is there on wiki wrong information? I'll just checking there and a lot of weapons from this list with AA on wiki has BB

Сhaos whatever scales with INT/FAI. If you have these stats leveled up properly, then why not?

I am SL85 and I have 30INT 30FTH for now, just wondering spend chaos gem on claymore or keep it for something better
