Still Hollow after Healing Dark Sigils

So I started a new character and was going down the Londor Path, while going through the Ringed City I used the monument to clear my hollowing and nothing happened other than my hollowing returning to zero, no changes to my looks.

Later, just before entering NG+ I healed my dark sigils with the firekeeper and went into NG+ only to find I was still Hollow despite having zero hollowing and no dark sigils.

I've already tried this, it won't allow me to use a purging stone.

Looks like you have to go hollow path again, gain hollowing and than use purging stone and reverse hollowing. Or just wear a helmet)

Issue is, if I level once more I lose the ability to invade people at 120. I'm gonna try and see if I can replicate this issue on an alt.

Purging stone should work... if you are invaded or in someone else's world you cant use it but it should work when you are at firelink shrine

Hm, could be you messed up the char. Sometimes Steam can set you to offline ( per ex. during maintenance time) ..the only way to fix it would be a backup file. Or wear a helmet...or start a new char...

I'm gonna try going through the hollow line again, if It doesn't fix it then I'll have to do a new playthrough, sorta annoying since I spent 12 hours getting all the items/quests done in one ng.

Purging stone will get rid of your Hollowing stat, I.E your death count, however, it won't remove the Dark Sigils that you get from the Yuria questline.
The only way to remove those and the hollowing stat altogether, is to pay the cost in souls to the fire keeper after you give her the soul of a firekeeper, found at the top of the tower in firelink shrine.
