is iGP11 safe?

Well I am sure that this was asked quite a few times already but all that I found were topics from at least 6 months ago and even then they did not have any definite answer to this. So I ask you guys, if I use iGP11 to change few textures (particularly color of abyss watcher cape) do I risk getting banned? And if yes, will it be softban for character or hardban. Also if I risk ban, is it real risk of ban or only theoretical?

I have been using igp11 to change blood texture alpha to make the blood look like actual blood, and still haven't got any invalid data message or whatever. I guess safe? I have been using it for 3 days dou. Playing online'n'♥♥♥♥ with it

It can take up to 2 weeks to get the invalid data message, no mods are permitted.

While that is the theoretical risk, it is said it is not allowed yet, is there a real chance to receive ban?

Any alteration of data whatsoever is risk of a ban, if doing something as pointless as a texture change is worth it to you, just do what you want, if you get banned don't come crying about it on the forum.

... yeah, yeah, that is great, not like everyone wouldnt know it already.... once again that is not what I asked. I did not ask what the rules say, I asked how safe is iGP11, if people got banned because of it.

You'll get a ban. Maybe not straight away, but yes, you will. If it's worth it, go ahead.

See, this is what I am talking about (the guy above) although I cant really be sure if he isnt troll on the other hand. But still the thread is about what happens in reality and not what should or may happen, I am asking about people using it and their real experience

Ok, let's be blunt here, the main question here: "is iGP11 safe?"

No. It is not.

It is a mod, and all mods violate the terms of the game.

Will it get you banned? Maybe. Some get banned straight away, others have been using mods since launch and nothing happened. It's up to you to figure it out if that's worth the risk.

I am not sure if I worded my question in a bad way or if half of you here are retarded. First of all, yes I do use logic but then again, how many games have no modding in terms yet modding goes on without any disruption by bans? Way too many, DS1 included if I am not mistaken. Now the last answer by Leo was probably the best. The part about it being mod not included...the some get banned straight away and some use them since launch and nothing happen was the answer I was looking for or something. You guys only go on about terms, yet I am not asking you what is official terms about it. I was asking something else. And yes, I got my answer already, so need to go on andpost any more answers...
