Greirat missing

So I had already finished the game and sent out Greirat to Irythyll. I've done Siegward's quest earlier, so I knew that Greirat is gonna die, that did not bother me. The problem is, in the sewers there is no corpse at all. I've waited, teleported between bonfires, checked his "shop" in Firelink and nothing. I even checked his corpse location in Lothric, but he wasn't there either. Is this a bug? Did I f*ck something up? help

I'm not sure if it works the same for when he dies, but you might need to kill a boss to trigger the next phase of his quest (Surviving or dying)

You have to kill Pontiff Sulyvahn. Beating bosses is almost universally the trigger for advancement in NPC storylines in Dark Souls 3. Unless you already have, in which case you're probably looking in the wrong spot. If Greirat died in Irithyll, that's where his body will be, not Lothric Castle.

if you sent him out after killing every boss, then you can't trigger his next phae (aka die) because you have no boss to kill to advance the questline.

If you have the ringed city, you could try to respawn Halflight and kill him to advance time.

Guys, read ;v (or maybe it's my bad english, idk) - i have finished the game, killed everything that moves. Siegward storyline has ended, but Greirat was at jail at that moment - i've sent him after everything happened.

Respawning him affects the game outside Ringed City?

Yes, Greirat's quests only progresses when a boss is killed. Sending him out with no bosses left puts him in limbo as it were.

As for the Halflight fight, may as well try it and find out. You should post the results here so we'll all be able to know if that works or not (I suspect it will, but have never had to try, so can't say for certain).

So I've respawned Judicator, killer the Spear of the church, went back to sewers and... nothing :/ Greirat didn't appear in there, neither in Firelink
