Difference between sorcerer's and court sorcerer's staff?
I see the S rank for intelligence scaling....but is that only for the physical weapon itself? Does that mean any spells attuned to the staff benefit from this ranking? Also...what makes any staff better then the starting one if they can all be buffed? I had upgraded my starting staff to +7 then did the same for the court sorcerer's staff up to +8 and wound up only being about 2 points higher for the spell buff stat.

At higher intelligence the Court Sorcerer staff has a higher spell buff

I'd say if you plan to have 50 or more INT, max the court sorcerer's instead.

Planning for at least 60....apparently beyond that level is diminishing returns so might put more into attunement since more slots couldn't hurt.

A quick go of the internet says:

From Fextra:

Court Sorcerer's Staff "is the most powerful in the game for non-dark sorceries. Sage's Crystal Staff outdamages it while its weapon art is active, and Izalith Staff does more damage with dark sorceries but less with non-dark sorceries."

From another site:

"Best staffs are....54 int and below sorcerers staff....55 int and above Court sorcerers staff"

I'm sure someone else can give you an even more thorough response, but I think this at least explains the differences between the two. Not sure if the 54-55 int thing is 100% correct but I know Court's does become the most powerful...barring any weapon art.
