Unfortunately, youre right. There are miracle rewards for covenants, but no sorcery rewards

Unfortunately he's correct. But also mages aren't really supposed to be religious so...it kinda makes sense?

I've noticed this since DS1, and I was hoping DS3 would provide that, but alas. There's a school entirely revolved around sorceries, so on a lore perspective, it wouldnt be an unrealistic thing to happen. You can "donate" your rewards to the Vinheim school rather than offer to a God.

Your closest thing to a mage covenant is DS2's Pilgrims of the Dark, and appropriately is a PvE covenant where mages excel greatly in. I guess your second "mage" covenant would be Aldrich Faithful just because they formerly were a source of the most poweful projectile dark magic, but Ringed City made the covenant redundant and pointless unless you need an achievement or you really want a reverse-casting catalyst, and we know how good those are.

hasnt made it redundant....new ringed city spell isnt "better" than previous.....highger req, higher FP cost.
