Fire Fades edition did not come with DLC

I purchased the fire fades edition of Dark Souls 3 as it says on the cover that the DLC comes with it however when I opened the game I quickly discovered that I did not have the DLC, is there something I am missing here?

it is simply not there, I installed the game, chcked steam and did not have the DLC installed.

This is the second report I've seen of this. Which country are you in?

You should contact Bandai support. It's possible there was a mixup with the keys (they're supposed to be deluxe edition keys), so maybe they can help you out (otherwise, you'd have to try to take it back to the retailer).

I am in the UK and yes I should probably contact Bandai support

Pretty sure it acts like SOTFS and DS1: PTDE where the dlc is in the game already. Have you even tried to see if you can visit the DLC areas?

prepare to die edition for Dark Souls 1 does not have a link to the DLC whereas in this case it has a link to the DLC page and doesn't say that I have any of them, and to answer your other question, I am not far enough into the game to get into the DLC areas.

I have the Fire Fades edition. It's built in the game. It's not a download code or anything. Yes in the store page it acts as if you don't own any of the DLC, kind of like Bloodborne: Old Hunters Edition. In fact I'd be pretty mad if they did NOT pack those contents onto the disc.

I just fired up Ariandel yesterday and saw the extra bonfire at the Kiln of the First Flame that leads to Ringed City.

I'm using the R3 version but I don't think there's any difference in DLC accessibility.

Well I got far enough in the game and can confirm that fire fades edtition did not come with the DLC.
