Unbreakable patches did not appear in Cathedral, why?

I met him in the tower, but he does not sell Onion armor now. I can't do my ♥♥♥♥ before NG+ now? Onion quest and stuff.

If you met him in the tower, you can't meet him in the cathedral, I think. It's either one place or another. Have you spoke to Onion man already? Perhaps Patches will sell his armor when you met Sieg in the well.

Yeah I met Onion dude later sadly. And armor did appear for me to buy. Siegfried is ok. But I missed one gesture from Patches. He only gave me squat. :(

You can't have both in a single playthough. It's either squat or prostate unfortunately. Squat is a nice gesture to use against annoying people when you kill them, but I usually prefer to meet him at the cathedral, so no Squat for me.

After you first meet Siegward in the tower in undead settlement you have to take the elevator up to where the giant is.
Then Siegward "uses" the elevator too, and you have to meet him again by jumping off the elevator : there is a hint with a lit lantern and you can hear sigward saying "mmmh mmh" when the jumping point is close.

Pretty sure you need to do this so that Siegward goes to the cathedral and Patches can steal his armor etc

Not sure if doing the firelink tower first breaks Patches quest though, I always do that after the cathedral. I guess if Patches is now sitting at the firelink you won't meet him at the cathedral... if not then it should be ok

I was just wondering how it works, because I want to trigger him to show up in the cathedral next time.

Go to the cathedral first before getting the firekeeper soul at the top of the tower in Firelink Shrine. There are some things to take into consideration though.

To meet him at the cathedral, you can't meet Rosaria. The bridge that he uses to trick you is the same one that leads you to Rosaria. If you go there first, he can no longer trick you to go there, so he won't appear. Best to meet her when you are done with the area.

Er you can get both If you forgive him at the cathedral you get prostate for Squat you get it when you talk to him when he is at Firelink squating.

To meet Patches at the cathedral you have to open the large door you pass when heading to where he will be, then he will spawn. If he traps you at firelink first he will not spawn at the cathedral.

That is odd because I can get him to apper in both locations almost every playthrough 1st playthrough I missed him at the cathedral but missing stuff is to be expected on the first run.

Yeah same here, and I just did that yesterday in NG+ so it's fresh. Also I got both "prostrate" and "squat" in my first playthrough.

I wonder why he wouldn't show up at the firelink tower after you meet him at the cathedral, I don't think there is anything else in his quest line... I remember him saying me he got saved by Greirat yesterday, so maybe it's linked to sending Greirat pillaging ? Like when you reach Irrythil maybe
