Dark Souls 3 GOTY - The Fire Fades | Differences?
Simple question: Does the upcoming GOTY edition (which is apparently named "The Fire Fades") include anything that the season pass aka. buying the two dlc's separetely does not?

I don't own any dlc yet, so should I just buy the season pass now or is there any reason at all to wait until April 21st to get the Fire Fades edition?

Haven't heard anything about any differences like there was in SOTFS. If you buy the new edition you'll be buying the base game again though.

You can get the Season pass for $20. Not on steam but elsewhere. They will provide a key right after your purchase

And don't use that site. Just look up totalbiscuits newest video about it, he provides evidence and such about their shady business practices which literally made many game makers bankrupt. Yeah, you get a key right away a little bit cheaper... But is it worth it? Do you really buy games so the guy who made the game can go bankrupt? Or do you actually buy the game so the devs can make other games too?

Heaven forbid the game devs should somehow go bankrupt because you paid a little less money for DIGITAL CONTENT.

DIgital or not it doesn't matter. A CD material cost barelly 5$ to produce, box include...

But you still have to pay all your team, though. That's the real cost of a game.

Whatever, fromsoftware have money, i'm more worried about littles studios.

FromSoft making you pay for the same game twice, AGAIN! First, Prepare to die Edition, then SotFS, now TFF. Bloody expensive

But DS1 and 2 had new balance and improved graphics, while this is just DS3 with DLCs.

I personally bought the first Dark Souls 3 times, 1 for XBOX 360, PC, and PS3 . I bought Dark Souls 2 twice because of the SotFS. I feel that all of the copies were justified and am actually glad I have given FromSoftware that much money. IMHO, of all the games that are released every year, the Souls series(Demon included) has the most replayability of any games. I will gladly give them all of my gaming money until I die, if they keep pushing out the same quality of games that they have been.

The content is identical, and there is no reason for you to wait to pick up the season pass.
