Black Knight Shield or Curseward Greatshield?

Curse ward is disturbingly good, but it just weighs too much, and it's a pain to upgrade. It's also too damn big.

Upgraded Lothric knight works nearly as well for these (and is far more accessible).

That shield is ridiculous for how early you can get it.

if ur willing to spend a lot of str and vit to equip a greatshield go for havel or gog. curse ward is inferior, but it has historical value
