Best and Most Fun Weapons?

What are everyones opinions on the best and most fun weapons in DS 3.

Demon fists, a couple of cool combos you can do with them. Sadly they nerfed the ultra combo :(

"Best" in what regard?

Friede`s Greatscythe is pretty fun, and strong. Most twinned weapons are actually, excepting the ones that are just "two of the same sword/dagger". Splitleaf Greatsword, twohanded Uchi, whips, Throwing Knives are all pretty fun too.

Ok, so best and most fun, I'm gonna go with categories.


The best looking Greatsword in Dark Souls 3 is Lorian's with an activated weapon art.

The best stregth build vibe comes from Ledo's.

The best weapon a boss yields is Ariandel's Lordvessel.

Nothing can just be 'best', it has to be best at something in particular.

Unless it`s DS2, in which case Black Witches Staff is objectively best if you just consider AR .

For me

Best greataxe: Dragonslayer Greataxe

Best Spear: Dragonslayer Spear

Best Straight Sword: Sunlight Straight Sword and Dark Sword

Best Ultra Greatsword: Fume Knight and Astora

Black knight greataxe is great....nothing except the abseloute toptier can compete with it

I want to do use the wolfknight gs..or any gs
But all greatswords seem to be a terrible version of my axe....with little lower starmina cost which is supposed to compensate for the much lower damage and hyperarmor_:_

And at 40/40 str/dex its superior to dragonslayer axe...because splitdamage sucks(all for pve)

I'll have to farm for the BK greataxe and see how it compares to the Dragonslayer greataxe.

The Thrall Axe is quite fun and underrated weapon. The dashes are quite nice.

There are several weapons now that give you the light saber effect. You could do some cool cosplay I think with them. Add emit force to the mix too.
