Use a great bow from the door near the bonfire its actualy much fast he dies in like 10 arrows

Still use a bow its what I do although them running out actualy slows the kill down kinda annoying but if you want to fight melee stick to his left hand and hug near the edge hit a few times run out hit a few times run out dodging his move set

By where is right hand kinda sits, there is a little piece of rock ledge on the ... well ledge, if you stand right in that area, none of his attacks will hit you, when he puts his arms back down in front of him, step out and wack him a few times and roll back onto that little spot.
Repeat until dead.

This worked pretty well. I'm not sure if yer safe there while he's smashing the bridge after the roar (I got slammed moving toward his neck/the ledge), but I was totally safe from the fire both directions once I got there.

Just put the Hawk Ring on, equip Onislayer Arrows, and use the Millwood Bow from the exit of the grave. Depending on your AR you can kill him with like 20 arrows.
