Recommendations for strength hammer?

Firstly, I am sl150, and will be largely using this build in PvE. My starting class was the cleric (not really ideal for this build, I know). I want to use a great hammer, but I am not sure which one. The quakestone hammer has a cool weapon art, smough's hammer is smough's hammer and ledo's hammer is really really heavy. Which of these has the best damage, which has the best move set? I kinda dislike the thought of smough's hammer simply cause of the lack of fashion souls to go with it.


Also, any recommendation for my stamina? I never really levelled it up before but that ain't gonna go well with great hammers.

I am willing to go up to 66 (I am going to respec). Also totally forgot about morne's hammer!

Morne's is a PvE destroyer.
Pretty hefty requirements, tho.
That thing is worth those requirements.

Yeah, I might go for that. Morne's just has too much of a faith requirement. I can use my small amount of cleric faith for some basic healing miracles or something. Then again, faith strength paladin does sound cool. I have just never found a good time to use miracles when trying faith before (my cleric morphed into a pyromancer).

ledo great hammer is great, good wa and good damage.
You would need 60 str and it weight sits at a nice 28 so yeah super heavy.

It is actually worth using unlike something that is similar in the requirement department over nerfed FUGS wait for the over nerf on ledo's.

If is for the AR Ledo´s should be the best. I still prefer Vordt hammer.

PD: Those snow sparckles are the best.

You won't sing taht tune on NG8+ when you wished you could use your tears and high heals.

I'd say go for Smough's or Vordt's, because of Perseverance.

You'll keep swinging those hammers all day long.

Well, I was running 50 faith on NG and found the damage hugely underwhelming for such long casting animations and fp cost- I was able to do the same thing with a battle axe much more easily. And I sure as hell ain't gonna get to that high of an ng.

Edit: I should also mention that high ar is certainly a priority. I want to kill things in the least possible number of hits.

Ledo's +5 got about 662 AR at 60 STR.

I've never seen Ledo's Hammer not stagger everything you throw at it. Using it made Gael trivial.

[40+13x-3=17x-363]

Ledo for highest damage. Vordt for perseverance and frost. Heavy great club for moveset, weight and damage (not as much as Ledo tho).

Edit: maybe highest damage would go for the 3 hit combo from a buffed spiked mace, not sure.
