Dragonslayers Greataxe VS. Ledos Greathammer

Hey guys im really looking for opinions on these two weapons, im a strength, faith, build
with 66 str and 40 fth. two handing the greataxe i get 775 AR. with the greathammer i get 681 AR.
and with the Deep Protection, and Sunlight Blade buff, the axe gets 890 AR, while the hammer gets 770 AR. Also with the axe i can carry better armor and a good sheild. But on the other hand i like the hammers moveset. I personally feel like the hammer would be better for a pure strength build, but the axe is better for str/fth, since it has a faith scaling. But please tell me your opinions below.

I personally love the greataxe but its moveset is bland and uninspired. Also it does sport higher AR but it's split damage. haven't tried Ledo's yet but the it looks really cool, especially with that weapon art.

You're pretty spot on. Ledo's Hammer is a pure STR weapon while Dragonslayer Greataxe is for STR/FTH builds.
I love Ledos Hammers. Sadly it lacks perseverance to make it perfect but it's weaponart is also fantastic.

but would it really help my faith? because i do like the movest of the hammer but its alot slower also

Not really. Hammer is a great weapon but you'll get more damage out of your greataxe.

You know what. You should just ignore what I say. I was looking at the wrong weapon AR. It does raise the AR

Even with just 40 str the greataxe does a hell of a lot dmg

Why choose? Just use both...
