Otherwise Ring ofSteel Protection is nice.
Hornet Ring if you parry / backstab alot.
Clutch Ring's only if you have really, REALLY high elemental Damage.
Wolf Ring is trash. Prisoner Chain aswell.
Havel is useful if you have lots of Vigor and want to wear heavy armor.
I used to use the Hornet Ring a lot, but currently almost everyone uses 2 handed weapons and missing your parry is pretty much a lose :/
I forgot the Ring of Steel Protection +3, it's really good.
Would the Clutch Ring be worth it if only your weapon has elemental damage? Or only in combination with a spell buff?
yea, steel protection is useless as well
So Carthus Bloodring and Milkring for better rolling?
What even is useful for pvp
Since def. stats are pretty much worthless stacking hp is the way to go?
The wolf ring gives poise, I use mostly light armor, around 20ish poise without the ring? What ~ amount of poise should I aim for?
All right, thanks :)
Be wary of trap!
Any kind of ring, that has anything to do with more dmg, or getting less dmg (clutch rings, ring of steel protection) scale lower in pvp. That means that you deal less dmg than in pve, but the amount you get into the face still stays the same. For steel protection.... not worth it as you probably won't even be able to tank one more hit. So useless.
You should always take the cholanthy ring, because faster stamina regen is always nice. Fap is okayish, but if you go for only HP and don't need either stamina or more EQ load, then go for Life Ring +3. Life Ring for life. For only eq load, go havels.
The other 2 slots are hard to determine and depend on your build. If mage then use sage ring +2 (casting speed one). Silvercatring can be usefull if going for invasions to rush the enemy. You could use the Sunprincess ring for a bit of hp regen if needed, but what I would advise you to use are the +5 stat rings. Depending on the build they can be really helpfull. Like I had a bleed build with 40 dex and str with 2 of the +5 stat rings and 40 luck. Onikiri with 2 l2s and 1 l1 bleed out everybody and the next hit killed them. It was pretty fun (RIP saves because pc reset).
