The Ringed City Boss Info ::
Decided it'd be best if I compiled the 3 separate threads into one easily accessible one.

Demon Prince ::
It's worth noting that the resistances of the boss change depending on which phase it is in... and possibly which Demon you fell first.

This is regarding the proper Demon Prince, the one with the darker red flames.

Elements ::
He is resistant to all it seems, as most bosses in this DLC are. However, this is the order from strongest to weakest elements against him.

- Dark
- Lightning
- Magic (it is possible that magic does more, as Pale Pine Resin adds 5 less damage than the above two... but there's no perfect way to test this).
- Fire

Status Effects ::
- Immune to Poison and Toxin
- Immune to Frostbite
- Resistant to Bleed

Physical Damage ::
Resistant to all once again, especially in Demon Prince form. Strongest to weakest.

- Standard
- Slashing
- Strike
- Thrust

Slave Knight Gael ::
Funny how the wiki says DON'T USE DARK against Gael... anyway. 3rd and final DLC boss info below.

Turns out, Gael's a massive weakling compared to Midir and even the Demon Prince. It's just his moveset the puts him above the Prince.

Elements ::
Reasonably high resistances as ever, take numbers with a pinch of salt. These are the numbers I got from MY testing, but the formula for damage reduction is a bit weird, so the numbers vary at times. Strongest to weakest.

- Lightning (84.21% reduction)
- Dark (85.26% reduction)
- Magic (86.67% reduction)
- Fire (87.06% reduction)

Status Effects ::
Before anyone corrects me... every boss is resistant to everything... as is EVERYTHING... but considering how ridiculously fast these procc, I'm saying he's weak to it... as in it's a very good strategy to just Poison, Toxin and Frostbite Gael so he runs out of stamina and just wail on him... :D

- Poison / Toxin - Very weak
- Frostbite - Very weak
- Bleed ... reasonably weak.

Physical ::
Okay... it's safe to say I no longer know wtf is going on here. I use a Straight Sword and get a damage reduction of 66.27% on an R1. Then I use another SS and get about 60%. I use Caestus (Strike) and get 70.71% reduction... then I use the Morning Star and get only 62% reduction.

Fromsoft have something weird going on with their damage formula... like for some reason the AR of a weapon affects the %age reduction... not just a flat %age reduction for every damage type, where the base values change due to %age values being different dependant on base AR. Does anyone know what this nonsense all is?

Anyway, in general...

- Standard
- Thrust
- Slash
- Strike

Darkeater Midir ::
I tested on his head and on his body (his back left leg to be specific... but I imagine his entire body has the same resistances).

Status Effects ::
These apply to both his head and body, because it doesn't change obviously.

Poison / Toxin - Immune
Bleed - Immune
Frostbite - Immune

This is for his head.

Elements ::
He's highly resistant to all, negating exactly or over 80% of elemental damage. You might think 80% is huge... but it's not when you think about most bosses... almost everything has resistances over 50%.

Anyway, from strongest to weakest.

- Lightning (80% reduction exactly)
- Magic (87.8%)
- Fire (89.4%)
- Dark (94.7%)

Take those percentages with a pinch of salt, because after testing things... it's a very weird formula they must use for damage reduction regarding defences. For example, using a SS and hitting his head, then hitting him in the same place with a higher damaging straightsword the damage reduction percentage was less. :/ Damage reduction from the same weapon, and the same damage type (Standard) should have been reduced by the same percentage... but it wasn't. ;-; I dunno. However, the reduction of damage types is consistent, in that certain types are typically always better than others... there just seems to be variation within those types.

Physical ::

- Standard
- Thrust
- Slash
- Strike

Not what I would have expected, given his heavy armour. :/ I haven't included percentages for the given reason above.

For his body...

Elements ::

- Lightning (89.47%)
- Magic (93.3%)
- Fire (94.12%)
- Dark (96.84%)

Pinch of salt. :/

Physical ::

- Standard
- Slash
- Strike
- Thrust (Thrust is REALLY weak against his body)
