Lighting storm or Lighting stake?

i was wondering what is better?

they're similar but not really. lightning stake is faster and when coupled with the sunlight talisman allows you to trade with anything smaller than great hammers, lightning storm is more of an aoe back-off spell.

ive played quite a bit w miracles and i have to say lightning stake. not only does it both stagger and do a TON of dmg to enemies in pve, when coupled with the canvas talismans poise weapon art it is a GREAT way to trade damage in pvp. Lightning storm is good too, but the long cast time and lower dmg (but not bad) make it less optimal than lightning stake. The reason you would use lightning storm is in pvp, since nobody expects it so people often mess up their roll timings and you can get them by surprise when theyre low on health to finish them off.
