What NG+ level am I at??? How to check.

So on my characters, how do I see what NG lvl I am at currently?

And no, I can't just go to the bonfire at "Begin Journey 3" or what not, because that option is only available once you beaten the game.

I am currently in a ongoing game, that I need to know what NG+ lvl I am at.
Because after trying the new DLC at NG+4, I want to try it at NG+0, but how do I know which characters of mine are at that lvl even?

It's been soo long, and I no longer remember.

Goto the main firelink shrine bonfire. It should say when you're in the bonfire menu screen. Top right corner.

One option to check if youre in ng+0/1/2 is looking for rings. If you cant find +1 rings youre in +0, if you cant find +2 rings youre in +1 and if you can find all rings its ng+2 or higher.

That way you can't know if you are higher than NG+3.

I think that number is how many times you burn bone shard.

I believe the only way to know is to finish the game, then when you get the option to go into a new game you can see what number of journey it would be.

I know but since OP wants to try dlc on ng+0 this should be enough to see what char he can use.

Nope, since I've traded items with an irl buddy. I've twinked my NG0 characters, so some extend.

Doesnt matter what you traded or not. Just go and look if you can FIND them. You prob didnt collect all rings on every char.

he is right, if you just want to know if you are in NG+0 go to the location of any +1 ring, if it's not there then you are good to go.

Why the never added a simple line under the character name,that prompt what NG cycle you are really make me think,that some quality of life for the game could help a bit.

Yes it would be nice. They had that on DS2 but it made sense because of the bonfire ascetics, not that all NG+ are pretty much the same i suppose they didn't though it was important.

I recall the wolf +1 or was it +2 ring being near a bonfire in faron keep / swamp area. Is that only a NG1 or 2 item? or is it a NG3?
