That way you can't know if you are higher than NG+3.
I think that number is how many times you burn bone shard.
I believe the only way to know is to finish the game, then when you get the option to go into a new game you can see what number of journey it would be.
Nope, since I've traded items with an irl buddy. I've twinked my NG0 characters, so some extend.
he is right, if you just want to know if you are in NG+0 go to the location of any +1 ring, if it's not there then you are good to go.
Why the never added a simple line under the character name,that prompt what NG cycle you are really make me think,that some quality of life for the game could help a bit.
Yes it would be nice. They had that on DS2 but it made sense because of the bonfire ascetics, not that all NG+ are pretty much the same i suppose they didn't though it was important.
I recall the wolf +1 or was it +2 ring being near a bonfire in faron keep / swamp area. Is that only a NG1 or 2 item? or is it a NG3?
