for me it cost 62500 souls
it reset the boss at church thus making people able to invade you again xD

For me it cost about 65K souls. I was doing it SL 130 on NG+. I think the cost depends of your SL. After killing the boss I get about 120k souls without soul boosting gear. It's purely there for covenant farming while allowing you to get a little bit of souls.

i think it is here for making sure that the covenent won't die and it also help for hosting fight club out side xD

Go in the swamp and use a branch (or chameleon) and then go back to ringed city streets, there's that reads ''show your humanity''. Behind it is a purging monument.

You can get more slabs after the first one? Weird, I've only gotten one from the first time I beat it. Or does this require you to fight other players? If so that's rather stupid.
