Lapp questline problems [SPOILERS]

I can't get Lapp to move from the "earthen peak" bonfire to the balcony at the "Ringed inner wall" bonfire where he should appear on the balcony after you've gotten the ring of favor+3 (atleast that's what the fextralife wiki states). He's just sitting there talking about the treasures of the big tower submerged in the swamp. I have the ring of favor+3 equipped but he just won't progress.
I'd really like his set so if anyone knows what to do or has a simmilar problem, be sure to post it. :)

He gives you a slab if you collect stuff from the swamp, OR if you kill the angel there. I don't know, but those are my guesses. That's when his story continues.

Try what Ponion said, Kill the angels and clear the area then talk to him.

I've actually just figured it out. You know that fat ringed knight (whatever they're called) who was in that cave in the swamp area? past him there's a small entrance which blends into the environment pretty well and in there there's another fat ringed knight who drops a slab which you need to progress, thanks though :)

I know of that enemy but I didn't kill it just picked up the item behind it and I was still able to do Lapp's questline.

Yeah my bad I thought you'd get the slab when you kill him but I figured out too that you can just pick up the item and leave :P
