Kaathe/Frampt

First off, I loved the DLC and while the ending was very subtle, there is clearly a TON of lore implications hidden throughout. As I progressed, I noticed an increasing number of Kaathe/Frampt like statues, and after hearing rumors of people claiming the Demon Prince arena is old firelink shrine from DS1, I got very excited for a big reveal. Unfortunately we didn't get it(at least not in a blunt obvious way). Curious as to what peoples' thoughts are on the topic of the primordial serpents and whether they should have had a bigger role in the final dlc

I guess DS3 happens after DS1's Kaathe ending(or a time after that when a chosen undead chooses the dark) and that's why there are Kaathe statues in Lothric. He basically came there from Lordran disguised as an angel which the Lothric royalty worship. The Ringed city might be build by Kaathe and the Pygmy, before DS1, and that's why there's statues of him. Just a theory.
