use pestilent mercury, it can do 500-5500 damage depending on how high your catalyst/Stats are

hide at the rock wall near him when he breathes fire and run and smack his claws with a weapon of choice. You sit under him sometimes when he breathes fire, rinse and repeat till you can knock him off. For the actual boss fight no idea i hear mercury is good and smaking its heard.

Could you mercury then retreat to the rock wall where you are safe from its fire breath ? Im not fully sure how mercury works.
