If I link the first flame
Can I still continue the game and do the areas I missed instead of doing NG+?

The game does not officially end until you go to Firelink Shrine and accept "Start Journey 2" You can go back to First Flame and access new DLC (and pray that your FPS doesn't tank) Acess to Ringed City is on the left side as soon as you spawn in First Flame.

God I hope not. I know Archdragon peak is pretty bad for FPS as well.

At least Archdragon tanks in certian areas. The moment you spawn into Ringed City, you can kiss your fps goodbye. (If not, props for having a PC that can handle From's code fck up)

Yeah it did. Looks like I'll have to wait for a patch for that area.
