Any idea how to deal with the angels in the Ringed City DLC?

I'm stuck. These ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are making it pretty much impossible to get part this point, especially when they chuck two of them up. I've tried killing them but they just respawn and can only be killed by ranged attacks anyway.

Anyone found a reliable way to deal with them besides run and pray to god it works?

there are cacoons placed around the map killing those will kill off an angel still stuck myself as i cant find a cacoon for the angel at 2nd bonfire

I think there are these weird hollow stump looking things and at least for the first angel, when I killed that hollow the angel died as well.

If you find the cocoon thing and destroy it, they stay permadead I think. Thank god

Worst content of From ever. Deaths in DS3 including Ariandel? Probably between 20-30. Deaths by these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Angels in this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC? Over 60 in less than 20 Minutes. Pathetic content

Same here. Have made it to a few areas with "protection" from them but I have no idea where to go. Exploration is hindered by you having to constantly find cover.

Hard?its not hard. It's utterly moronic and boring and designed for the sake of prolonging the DLC.I guess they have little actual CONTENT to show us


PS One cocoon is on the roof.Jump on the roof from the area where you fight pyromancer.
