Refined Lothric Knight Greatsword with 40/40 stats on str/dex because it's buffable too.

I like the Exile Curved Greatsword more because of the moveset though. You can also obtain it earlier in the game.

I believe he wants AR because he asked for AR not damage.

Some people don't realise the difference.

Case and point. AR is the value of the potential damage a weapon can deal; for example the highest AR weapon in the game (without any buffs of any kind) is the Demon's Greataxe at 854 AR.

However, damage is the actual damage you deal to an enemy. Damage is affected by an enemy's defences. When it concerns AI, it takes natural resistances and pre-determined defences into account.

When it concerns players, it depends on their stat allocation and their armour.

Weapons with split damage types (i.e Fire and Physical) typically have a high AR, because enemies' defences mitigate both damage types... thus reducing the overall damage moreso than they would a weapon with only one damage type.

That's why a weapon with pure Physical damage, such as a Hollow infused Greatsword at 749AR could potentially deal more damage than the Demon's Greataxe, despite having lower AR.

That, and it can be buffed with elements to potentially reach 999AR without the use of any rings or other such damage buffing equipment.

The maximum possible AR with all buffs for the Exile Greatsword is 1498.

The maximum possible AR with the Greatsword is 1505.

The maximum possible AR with the Lothric Knight Greatsword is 1517.

The maximum possible AR with the Greataxe is 1513.

The maximum possible AR with the Great Club is 1432.

These are THE most damaging weapons in the game.

Yes.

- Put all damage affecting stats to 99.
- Yorshka's Chime.
- Darkmoon Blade or Lightning Weapon.
- Red Tearstone Ring.
- Morion Blade.
- Flynn's Ring.
- Magic or Lightning Clutch Ring.
- Git nekkid.

Have fun doing all of that. :/ (You'll note I didn't include the Dragon Roar buff, as that lasts for only a few seconds).

Using Dragon Roar ::

- 1614 AR with the Greatsword
- 1623 AR with the Greataxe
- 1606 AR with the Exile Greatsword
- 1629 AR with the Lothric Knight Greatsword (I used DMB, does more than Lightning Blade... however, three damage types now.)
- 1535 AR with the Great Club

You won't need to deal that much damage however, because any RTSR / Morion Blade build is best used with spell spamming (far more powerful).

Dude, come on. I am just wondering the AR rates and how to get there. Have you heard what curiosity is? I also know AR doesn't mean everything. I don't like the attack sets of most of the weapons mentioned up there. So i won't copy it
