Heavy greataxe vs blackknight greataxe
Which one is better for pve(specialy bosses)?I read blackknight axe but the heavy greataxe infused with better scaling deals about 100 more damage(37str./18dex.)
Cant infuse the blackknight axe so is there something which im missing with it?

For pve yhorm's machete would be better.

What's better is what you are comfortable with.
I tried 40/18 with BKGA and i just didn't feel right.
So on 60/10 heavy greataxe is the stuff.

But it looks so ugly for which reason i would never feel good while using it

I'd go with yhorm's or the greataxe for a str build. With 37 str yhorm's and the greataxe are comparable. The bk axe gets better as you level your dex.

Str for 2h stops at 27 right?
Dex still 40?
So i would reach the peak of its damagecurve by 27/40?

BKGA is good for quality build, assuming you like it's moveset and know when not to attack because it hangs on walls and floors like crazy. For strength only I would think a Heavy GA would be much better than a BKGA.

So it is the best ga if you also have 40 dex ontop of 27 strg(softcap)?
And i realy like its moveset alot more than the heavy greataxe one

BKGA is absolutely terrible in tight spots and around corners where you can run into some weird clipping. It hits like a beast with high dex and str in wide open places.

For PvE its fun, but not really worth it for meta PvP.

I don't know if it's the most damaging GA and the "best" is subjective. I personally enjoyed using it on my 40/40 str/dex build and even though it wasn't the best for PVP, it certainly isn't bad for PVP. It hits hard 2 handed and I found the 1 hand R1 to be useful against multiple enemies/players. I also love the 2 handed heavy attack because it's basically the same attack as the BKUGS's 2 handed heavy attack (enemies fly upwards).

Like rarnick already mentioned, pick your battle locations wisely if you do decide to use the BKGA because it will bounce off of every wall; this makes the 2 hand R1s misleading because the attacks are not wide at all and looks viable in tight, walled pathways, but that's not true at all. Use it in wide areas and try to stay away from walls. This shouldn't be hard PVE-wise and I doubt much trouble in PVP so long as the enemy doesn't insist on fighting in hallways.

27 is not the softcap for str, not sure who told you that... even after 40 you can get benefits out of it if you're using a 2h build, many str builds go all the way up to 66 str becouse that gives you the max str bonus when 2 handing the weapon (66x1.5=99), specially useful for weapons with good str scaling like the Greataxe.
On most str based weapons 66 str and just the necessary dex for wielding it will be much better than 27 str 40 dex, specially since heavy infused weapon have no dex scaling, and the BKGA has just a D in dex but a C in str scaling... Greataxe for example has 680+ AR when 2 handing at 66str and 10 dex, which is just a couple of points below Yhorm's (707 AR) and Dragonslayer GA (735 AR) while weighting a lot less.
