I tried 40/18 with BKGA and i just didn't feel right.
So on 60/10 heavy greataxe is the stuff.
Dex still 40?
So i would reach the peak of its damagecurve by 27/40?
And i realy like its moveset alot more than the heavy greataxe one
For PvE its fun, but not really worth it for meta PvP.
Like rarnick already mentioned, pick your battle locations wisely if you do decide to use the BKGA because it will bounce off of every wall; this makes the 2 hand R1s misleading because the attacks are not wide at all and looks viable in tight, walled pathways, but that's not true at all. Use it in wide areas and try to stay away from walls. This shouldn't be hard PVE-wise and I doubt much trouble in PVP so long as the enemy doesn't insist on fighting in hallways.
On most str based weapons 66 str and just the necessary dex for wielding it will be much better than 27 str 40 dex, specially since heavy infused weapon have no dex scaling, and the BKGA has just a D in dex but a C in str scaling... Greataxe for example has 680+ AR when 2 handing at 66str and 10 dex, which is just a couple of points below Yhorm's (707 AR) and Dragonslayer GA (735 AR) while weighting a lot less.
