To op: No, afaik it is a different entrance, you'll have to progress through the base game, but you don't have to beat either dlc to access the other.

You can buy DLC 1 and 2 seperately so there will be no requirements apart from being at a certain part in the base game.

To op: No, afaik it is a different entrance, you'll have to progress through the base game, but you don't have to beat either dlc to access the other.

I highly doubt there will be two different entrances depending on whether you own the first dlc or not... That would be a pretty useless waste of ressources.
And that AoA boss arena appears in the trailer means nothing, in AoA's trailer there was also images of bosses and areas of the base game...

Well, that's 2v1 regarding the entrances, guess I'm wrong after all, my bad then. Anyway, you don't have to complete the first dlc to access the second as it seems (would be kinda unfair for those who don't own the first dlc wouldn't it? :P).

You'll have to complete the Ashes of Ariandel DLC, OR reach the Kiln of the First Flame (final area of the base game) in order to access The Ringed City DLC.
