One of the keys you can buy opens a door in the sewer in the Undead Settlement, that leads to one of the recruitable NPCs and lets you skip an annoying part with three of the giant machete guys.

You can sue the cell key...?

As much as I'm aware all key's in any DS game only unlocks one door.
Get them, use them and never worry about them again. Good luck on your jurney.

If it's named Cell Key, then it opens Greirats cell in High Wall of Lothric.

If you really don't know what to do with something you can just use google that will redirect you to fextra, or you can use fextra right away.

You can't buy Cell Key. The key you bought have a different name. Cell Key you already used, thus it became basically useless.

Jailers key ring opens a couple doors if I remember correctly.

I think that's true for DS3, in DS2 there's at least one key (soldier key) that opens several doors. In DS1 the master key opens who knows how many.
