Purging stone only temporarily removes your hollowing, if you die you'll get it again. You can save the souls and just leave it.

Theres no functional reason to, do you want to look hollow or human? If you die you will need to use another unless you get rid of your sigils.

More accurately you need to die 3 time with 5 sigils or 2 times with 8 sigils. 15 hollowing levels make you look hollow.

You do lose your shadow and reflection when hollowed.

That bothers some people.

The lack of shadows and reflection are consequences related to the PC losing his humanity aka Dark Soul fragment

Remember from DS1, before Gwyn, Nito and the Witch of Izalith discover the First Flame, humanity was made of nothing but empty shells...

Humans got their souls after the Furtive Pigmy discover the Dark Soul

It not bothers me, but is a part of the lore, so is important =)

That's a glitch not because you are hollow.

Who said that? I can't remember an official note from From or Bamco confirming this is a glitch

But, if you look close, is something close to vampires, who has no soul, shadow or reflection

Same for hollows, they could get inspiration from vamps for that on DS3 =)

Try Google there is no lore tied to losing your shadow or reflection when hollow. This is just a common misconception. It's been a day 1 glitch and has not been fixed.

Oh damn!, I always thought it is a glitch of some kind. Is that true? I always wondered why no shadow of my character.
