Is Blackflame Friede resistant to magic?

I swear, when i fought her with Moonlight GS at NG+4 - she's just as hard as she was at NG+7.
~250 damage per hit, 480 per backstab.
Either that, or she follows player defense calculations which leads to my MLGS being heavily crippled.

The way the OP is worded makes me think that they are talking about the entire fight, and are simply referring to Friede as Blackflame in general.

Alright, i guess she's just that strong then.
I managed to parry her a couple of times too, but it was more efficient just to keep beating her up in a classic manner to win. Parrying was taking away too much of my estus.

Yeah, if you don't have one of her weaknesses, this is what your left with. She has plenty of weaknesses of course. Just not sorcery.

I'm not using sorcery, just a melee knight with MLGS as a weapon.

Sorcery does magic damage, they are the same thing.

Moonlight GS deals magic damage too, but its not a sorcery. Nor is crystal rapier.

Sorceries deal magic damage, but they are also offering a completely different approach to the combat - ranged attacks and such. MLGS partially offers it but its too unreliable.

Yes but as far as weaknesses go saying sorcery or magic means the same thing. Combatwise it might be different but we were talking about a statistical difference of which sorcery was a perfectly acceptable answer. Don't be so pedantic when it changes nothing.

She is "resistant" to sorceries(normal\crystal). I don't care what wiki says. My CSS was doing much less damage to her than against other non magic resistant bosses.
