And about hollowing, no, it only makes you look like raisins and the fact that you will have to pay a huge amount of souls to get rid of dark sigil if you are high leveled.
I see. So basically you say that besides the fact that you look like raisins and the huge amount of souls required to get rid of the sigil, the only drawback in following yoel's quest is that you cut anri's quest short? Also, does Anri's quest provide something really good if you dont cut it off? Cause as much as I hate to admit it Yoel's path lets you do 5 level ups for free and thats not something you easily ignore. The advantages are really good. You think I should opt for doing Yoel again or Anri's?
Thank you in advance :)
I don't want to spoil, but finishing Anri's questline doesn't yield much besides story.
I personaly go with Yoel on first playthrough.
I see. Thanks a lot ;) (i am guessing the whole screwing up thing for pvp is that you may end up going above the soul level you originally intended)
Following Anri's Questline - fullfilling his/her mission defeating Aldrich in his/her world, may grant you the Pale Shade-armorset and a claw-weapon. Because if you interrupt the planned ritual, Yuria will send a Phantom after you to kill you.
To make this working, you'll need at least one dark sigil from Yoel and cure it afterwards with the Fire Keeper Soul or killing him, but BEFORE defeating the Abysswatchers.
You need to be embered and the bosses need to be alive to make the phantom invading you in Farron Keep (near the Basilisks) and Irithyll (after the sewers, after the room with the 3 Silver Knights)
The claw-weapon drops from the phantom itself. After defeatng him the second time, the armorset will spawn at Yuria's place at Firelink-Shrine.
Okay I got it. Do you think it is worth it though? Going through all this to get the armorset and the weapon? My point being that if that armor and weapon are really good then it sounds smart, otherwise isn't the smart move to fully go with Yoel so you level up as much as possible? (I understand of course that everything is player preference and which quest/path you want to take, however I am asking purely on what is considered as "objectively the smart path" to take as in which path offers you better results - the way I see it, I just have to choose if I want "five free level ups" OR "an armorset and a weapon". Sounds right?)
Thank you in advance :)
So what you are saying is that I can have both. I stick with Yoel for the free level ups and when Yuria appears, I kill her to make the phantom appear twice and get the weapon and the armorset. Am I correct? (If yes, just to confirm, the phantom that Yuria sends if I give her the ashes is the same one that appears if I kill her directly?)
Thanks for answering.
This guy http://darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com/Londor+Pale+Shade
If you kill Yuria he will hunt you in farron keep and Irithyll. But as with any invasion the area boss needs to be alive for him to invade you.
But you can just ask for someone to drop you all the items ;)
After it: visit the statue of Velka to pay for your sins ( very expensive).
....and Yuria will be friendly again, so you can follow her questline.
Okay, so to recap everything. I do Yoel's quest, get the 5 free level ups and become hollow. After he dies, Yuria appears (her quest is simply to giver her Orbeck's ashes whom I can kill on the spot I guess and he drops them (?) ). First I aggro Yuria by hitting her 3 times and that will cause her to send the phantom after me twice. Beat the phantom twice and I get the claws on the first drop and the armorset waits for me back at the shrine where Yuria is (?). Next step is to request absolution and pay for my sins so as to make Yuria friendly again and complete her storyline (basically give her Corbeck's ashes).
1) Does all this sounds correct or did I get confused somewhere along the way?
2) Also, by giving her the ashes she will have a sword for me to purchase afterwards?
3) If yes, is it the same sword you get if you summon her during the last boss fight?
4) Finaly; the armorset the phantom drops is the same one you get if bring Yuria into the final boss fight (meaning her own armor)?
Thank you in advance :)
