Haven't respecced, but here's how it works:

Fire zwei and arbalest if you don't want to invest into int and faith (good for more health and stam), will just have to invest a few more points into vit for this to work.

OR, if you want to go for the classic chaos zwei and Black Flame, you'll have to make it into a pyro build in order to do damage. Haven't tested these yet, but I think I found the right gear for the build.

Makes the definitive giant dad build.

Doesn't use the grass crest shield.

Gundy's helm is probs a better fit

I think the exile mask looks better. And I used the caestus instead because meta and better minmaxing. Because stamina regenerates twice as quickly in DS3, rendering any stam regen redundant. Also, HP regen is all the rage in this. Use the oak shield instead if you want, and we had to swap out the zwei for maxed str and dex in DS2 for a viable g-dad.

You know, giant dad was a min-max build. If you want to make the next giantdad, or anything similar, you have to figure out a gimmicky min-max build. Like giantdad infinite stunlocked people with the zwei. You'd need a similar gimmick in DS3 to make a giantdad build.

It also used father mask, not just because it looked awesome, but because of it's effect. Giant armor was the best armor in the game really (stat-wise), zwei had the infinite stunlock mechanic, and chaos did the most damage. If you want to do any of these in the game, it would look completely different: No special headpiece, and nothing really good-looking, best armor is irrelevant really, but if we pick something it's completely different looking, infinite combos were patched so you need to find a different gimmick, and if you infuse with chaos you lose damage and if you do that you are not worthy of creating any meme build.

OK, fine, it's a cosplay if you're gonna be all srs. And one thing about the classic g-dad is that it looked as cool as it was effective. And there's no equip load mask or giant armour in DS3, and Yhorm's set is unplayable. But this is the closest viable build I could get fashionwise. I was just trying to have some fun.

Closest I could get to the classic giantdad.

On the stunlock note. Hammers stunlock very easily. Almost too easy.

Honestly, your guys' thoughts are making it less and less of a giantdad build. I don't remember a giantdad using a hammer, or anything that isn't an ultra.

Giantstepdad

He knows he'll never fill in the shoes of Giantdad, but gosh darn it he's going to try his best.

Giant dad used a zwei because it could stun lock easy. If it was a door knob that could stun lock then he'd be using a door knob.
