What's your level by chance?
Still, I sometimes get like 3k where I'd usually get 50k. Seems like a pretty big difference. But maybe the jump from ng to ng+ is indeed very significant -- and I tend to get Lucky..
Really, though, 300.000? That seems like an awful lot, considering I get 55k for soul of cinder.
I guess the guy was kind of a big deal. He didn't seem overleveled or much like a hacker really. It was really weird. At the time I thought it must award souls based on the number the phantom was holding, but I think it's supposed to be based on their level?
You mean the total number of phantoms present in the fight? So the more phantoms the less souls gained?
I also seem to remember something about gaining a certain percentage of the souls the guy you killed would need to spend to level up. But that might have been invasions or something.
Yeah this. But I can't imagine someone being high enough to award 300,000+ souls. Not legit anyway.
I think the pve gains are like 25% of whatever the host receives like acidspew mentioned.
Thanks for the tips! I usually have the Ring and the Shield equipped, but I always forget to put the Symbol on after a boss fight. Which really is a shame, because it was generously donated to me be a good fellow of this community.
Didn't know about the Rapier, which I have just transposed. The item description doesn't say anything about souls gain, though, just about item discovery.
