There's almost no exceptions to that - except a couple of specific late game requests which can impact the ending, both of which are more than a little bit obvious. But neither of those involve people you haven't already met at the shrine.
Whoever Loretta was, Mr. Greirat just stops giving a damn once he knows she´d gone.
But it's odd how he died, did he forget to equip the silvercat ring? Or was he shot, forever a mystery.
