Turns out Havel's, is the absolute best, and with two rings one increasing my health stamina and equip load, aswell as a stamina regen ring, and another equip load ring, makes it perfect. Thanks for your help though and not being as cancerous as other forums!

Armour is overall not too big of a deal when it comes to being the best, whatever you wear you won't notcie much of a difference unless you go straight from full on winged knight to being Lothric's streaker of the month.

Here's some armour that you "might" consider BEST
Executioner
Exile
Fallen (AHAHAHAHA)
Winged Knight
Knight
Lothric Knight
Elite Knight
Nameless Knight

The best armor set is Havel. But it's just too heavy.

The second best I think, is Lorian armor set. But the crown is a little bit heavy.

Apart from that, I would recommend the nameless king's armor(upper body part) if you can't wear Lorian's armor set. It's slight less heavier but provides almost the same defense of Lorian.

If you simply can't wear heavy armor, then the wolf knight armor set would be your third choice.

Anyway, I highly recommend the crown of Lorian. It provides by far the best defense of all helmets and it's cool.

But if you go sexy, wait till the desert sorceress set comes out. It will be included in dlc2.

Dragonslayer set with Favor legs isn't bad. Black legs are great for weight. BlackKnight helm is great but looks kind of mental. Silver knight chest is nice. Faram chest is good medium weight armor with poise.
