Ancient Wyvern Glitch?
Hey all...so I was going against the Ancient Wyvern in NG+ on my way to the one shot plunge cliff. I was at the top of the first watchtower and exactly when I finished off the larger enemy with big ass axe (finished him through two riposte hits) the Ancient Wyvern suddenly died too?!?! No phantoms involved and no hacks. I literally didn't touch the damn thing. Anybody have this occur before?

This happened to me on my first playthrough so I assumed that once you make it far enough around the map, the wyvern just dies...

Wyvern falling down is actually a thing. I was watching a speedrunner trying to find ways to kill it easier/faster and sometimes it happened that the wyvern just walked into his death.

Interesting...that didn't happen in my first playthrough...however, I did have a phantom with me. Really baffles me haha.

Yeah, that's the only thing I could think of but it generally doesn't move much when you're that far away...in fact, it just stands there when you are in the location where I was... Dark Souls 3 for you lol

Well I've had friends report that their character has randomly fell through the floor and died, so something similar is probs going on with the wyvern.

In any case, that particular boss dying early isn't something I'd particularly complain about
