Will the dlc go on sale at some point?
I noticed it didn't for the Winter Sale, which worried me, but I also realize that it was a new release at the time. I don't want to buy a short DLC for $15 bloody bucks so I want a sale first, but if they won't sale it then I just may skip it :/

W-what about season pass?
Ashes of ariandel has in my opinion the best boss fight so far and well worth the 15 , i wouldnt expect any of the dlc to go on sale till a couple months after ringed city is release. And the game of the year will be coming out so i wouldnt expect the dlc to go on sale till late this year but i could be wrong.

Price is subjective if you have a job you can easily earn back the $15 after an hour and a half/2 hours (average length of the dlc).

And no the dlc won't go on sale.

Last Christmas Sale it went for about 40% off if I remember correctly. Try your luck in the next Summer Sale.

So I guess I bought DS3 because it's long, and I played 300 hours of it because that's how long it takes for me to finish the whole game...

For ♥♥♥♥♥ sake people, this is Dark Souls. Why do you buy it if you only finish it once? And if you finish it more than once... Then why is it short exactly? You will finish it many times, and it'll add up to have a worthy playtime/$ price.

EDIT: Stop asking for sale dates, because NOONE KNOWS. Also stop crying.

I like to challenge run this game. I have about 300 hundred hours in the whole series combined. The thing is, I don't want to buy a DLC at $15 I'll play once and never return to it because I don't like it (which seems to be possible based on the reviews) when I could invest my money elsewhere. Basic Opportunity Cost.

Who plays dlc just once? You're telling me you won't go through it on multiple new games or even play arena?

Did you ever play Ds2 dlc more than once? What about Ds1?

DS2, except to go fight the Fume knight, no. I hated those DLCs. DS1, yes. It's part of the game for me.

I suspect it'll be like Witcher 3 season pass/dlc. Why would they put a discount on a season pass or it's contents when all it contains has not been released yet? It would cause some rather weird pricing and also defeat the purpose of the season pass. I don't say I agree with passes, but I suspect they wont go on sale till several months after the final DLC is here.

It's never been on sale so far https://steamdb.info/app/506970/
