best weapon for chaos infusion

Im playing my pyro build and i want a good weapon that gets good scaling with a chaos gem

It is one of the best ones for elemental infusions. I can't say for sure about other weapons as I use quality build.

Well it requires a lot more stats to use, and has the same scaling ( according to wiki ) but less base dmg than hand axe at chaos +10. But it's not bad. It's got longer range and that.

I'd just check around the wiki and see what works.

Longsword, warpick, thrall axe, Zweihänder, astora gs, Ghru spear (iam not shure about this one), followers saber.
